And we thought tattooed people were stigmatized?? Look at poor Me-HEY-co!!!!!

I would like to address that the news is a control factor to install fear into the hearts of people foolish enough to hang on every word of the very skewed media. I have lived in Mexico for almost 13 years now and low and behold...I am alive to write this!

I have had this outsiders view of the United States and I have to say that I have no craving to go back. I refuse to watch the news because it is not something that makes you feel good. I realize in some instances its important to know the goings on in the world but for me I know if a hurricane is coming by my dear friend Facebook. I would rather send love to the world than to allow the news to make me feel upset, depressed or angry because these emotions just fuel the problems of the world and lower my immune system.

I would rather focus on the ho oponopono method. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. I won't go into this expalnation but I suggest you look into it..its will change you life and the world. http://www.ancienthuna.com/ho-oponopono.htm

Mexico seems to be the target worldwide of negative media. Just to be a 3rd world country nowadays is a stigma and I am so familiar with stigmas just through being a dangerous tattooed person. Just because I have tattoos and micro implants in my face does not mean I am dangerous just as because Mexico has some strife in some of its parts that it is dangerous to visit.

People are losing out on coming to a very spiritual, gorgeous and cultural area because they choose fear over adventure and truth. EcoTulum has posted a very important press release I am going to share with you. Just as an example....

It states that the distance from Juarez City to Cancun is 2000 miles...that is like saying do not visit Las Vegas because there is a war in Washington, DC. And I am sure Washington DC is more dangerous than Cancun or especially little Tulumcito.

I do not want to take up more of your time except to please read this EcoTulum article..its short and please share it with everyone you know.....Tulum lives off of tourism, not like Cancun and Playa del Carmen which are self-sufficient cities. If tourism dies in Tulum, so does Tulum and my option of living in Paradise...call it selfish but I want to save my Tulumcito!

Tattoos…every corner of the world and every space in time

Tattoos…every corner of the world and every space in time

Tattoos have something in common with many ancient arts…yoga, art, meditation, acupuncture, dance, music…..its found in every culture and in all time epochs.

My view on Humanity is that we are NOT the most evolved creatures that exist. No one has to agree, its just my opinion. But I do feel a shift for Humanity to at least try to evolve. I feel we de-evolved or dis-evolved from ancient times as we worshipped the goddess, ourselves, and our power within as well as lived in harmony with Mother Earth. Even today we are the only living creature that does not live in harmony with the planet…no animal, plant or living thing destroys the planet, well except you know who…..

I do feel with this shift to evolve that we are returning to all things ancient…a simpler but more powerful life. Yoga and meditation are taking precedence over medication. I see more people returning to faith whether it be a belief in God, the goddess, angels or their higher selves. Many ancient arts are surfacing but one that is not resurfacing because its always been around but is losing its stigma is tattoos.

In any culture anywhere in the world in any time era you can find tattoos of some sort. They may be for connecting with power animals or a marking on a sinning person or for protection against outside evil forces. Tattoos can be a form of belonging to a certain group whether it be a navy squadron or a caravanning tribe. Tattoos define the wearer. They make that individual more individual even if it’s a marking signifying a group. They can be a connection to the unconscious and underlying wants and desires from the soul.

From an anthropologist viewpoint, they are interesting to repiece a past together such as Oetzi the iceman… see… http://www.vanishingtattoo.com/ancient_tattoos.htm Antropology is another clue that these living artforms (or at least they once were in some cases) survived the test of time and stigma of the aristocratic culture and have prevailed today not just in one part of the world or a tiny dark street but are boldly announced on every street by all walks of life.

Where once the tattoo was a stigma or a strange occurrence its now been flipped or at least in my viewpoint. For me to see a complete tattoo virgin is strange. Almost everyone has at least the small cutsie tattoo on the back of the neck or ankle. Very rarely will you find an au natural person. I do however have a very fine and outgoing goddess friend who has no tattoos and not even her ears pierced..but she is a different kind of weird all together..haha. (you know who you are!)

So spells and shamanism may have seemed to disappear (but we really know they just hid themselves from the uneducated) but tattoos never even tried to hide. Whether in a small island tribe or in a highly populated prison tattoos never accepted their unfair judgement and stood the test of time in public in all places and all continents and all eras of time passage. Whether from the 1950’s salior and pin up tattoos to the recent fad of tribals which were based on ancient designs, tattoos still find their way on modern skin from all historical realms. Tattoos I hope will lead Humanity to re-evolve again into other ancient arts such as meditation and manifestation through vibration and creativity and lead us away from power hungry wars and media lies.
